What are junk emails?
They are emails containing attachments,contents including websites, infected files that contains malwares that you DO NOT need. Why are you getting junk emails?
Because you gave away your email to a third-party directly or indirectly.
What happened to me:
I've been taking part in a lot of games, events and also promotion hosted by unknown people(as in they are not famous). And recently, I've been receiving junk emails into my hotmail; Surveys(that I did not sign up for) , phishing emails!!!, emails telling me I won a million dollar and even emails that invites me to PORNOGRAPHY websites!!!
Let me tell you; I'm 13 and I definitely do not watch these stuffs.
How do you prevent:
1. Do not give out your email that you usually use to unknown websites( especially those that does not have a privacy policy).
2. Prevent yourself from using unknown apps in facebook that requires you to give them access to your information.
3. Do not use your email to sign up for too much surveys,etc.
